We are creating a 'Virtual "S-to-S" (student to student) learning platform as Beginners Inverter (BI) for Engineering students. In India, there are 10396 Engineering Institutes, around 15 lacs engineering graduates are produced per year. According to NASSCOM, only 40% of students are place-able because of theoretical and traditional teaching patterns. Our platform will create a pool of semi-skilled students, trained them from our corporate technocrats (charity partners), making them perfect skilled and then they will train a group of students in the surrounding. This will create an 'S-to-S' learning environment India wide. It will be completely executed and monitored by our 'BI' team. We think we will be able to change this theoretical engineering institute teaching paradigm in to complete practical learning platform in the coming two years in the broad scenario. Through this platform, we will classify the students based on their interest, and then categorized and specify them to work in their fields but through technology. That will fulfill their desire to work in that field by applying technology for the growth of individuals as well as society. we think that we will be able to convert 50% non-productive engineering graduates into the perfect engineering professional through BI. That will save, loss of our national property in terms of expenditure wasted to producing non-productive engineering degree holders. We are quite confident this will help to solve the major problem of unemployment in India.
We have developed a platform in the form of a website which is providing full guidance to the students about the working of our project "Beginners Inverter". Solution Model: ' We are engineering scholars, what we find in our teaching environment that, it is full of the theoretical and traditional approach, the maximum time it is boring also. Almost 50% or more than this, students are losing their interest to attend these classes and hesitate to interact with teachers. Engineering is applied and experimental science, so it needs vocational, training, learning, project development, real problem-solving approaches to create interest and make them professionally efficient. Engineering and professional institutes are full of infrastructure like classrooms, labs, libraries, faculty with old teaching methodology academic attitude but there is almost absence of skill developers/corporate trainers. In our research, we find that there are around 20% of engineering students who are having technical attitudes and 2% of students who are semi-skilled with there own efforts. If we would be able to provide some periodic interactions of corporate experts to these 2% students then they will be finished product to get placed and then they will be a complete module for training their colleagues: that is 'S-to-S' learning platform. The processing of 2% of students is started and going on. Then we will step into the next phase. ' This model is implemented in our web-portal "beginnersinverter.com" in different modules that can be visited and visualized.
